A fine example of Pholidophorus from Charmouth, Dorset. Fossil fish from this iconic locality are very scarce. This specimen is preserved on its original shale; it appears this small slab had become detached from the ledges for a short while before the fish within began to reveal itself - remarkable. A fantastic British fossil.
