A large, excellently prepared Barasaurus Besairiei, preserved in a nodule. Over 40 hours of skilful work have gone into revealing this specimen. The skull is particularly fine, with jaws free from surrounding matrix. Barasaurus is an extinct genus of Procolophonoid Parareptile from the Permian of Madagascar. Stabilisation to reverse of stone. A fantastic display fossil.
