This fantastic sweeping Crinoid head has been prepared using abrasive techniques out of a hard limestone nodule. Quality crinoid are rare and this is no exception with stunning detail throughout. A thin layer of pyrite covers most of the specimen. Small repair which is visible just to the right hand side of the head, should you wish this can be colour matched (please contact us). A fantastic British fossil.
