This crinoid plate has fantastic detail throughout. One complete and two partial heads are preserved on their original shale matrix. In places the calcite is covered with golden iron pyrite. There is a limited time window for these specimens to be collected as they are often destroyed by just a single tide. This specimen has been stabilised on the reverse. A classic British fossil.
