Scunthorpe ammonites are highly prized amongst collectors, and this is no exception. This stunning Asteroceras Stellare exhibits fantastic black and white sutures and is nicely presented on a large piece of Frodingham Ironstone. The ammonite is well prepared back to the 'cats paw' and there is a belemnite in association. This piece would make a focal point for any collection or, equally, place very well as a decorative piece for the home or workplace. A fantastic British fossil from a location that is no longer accessible.
