This stone has been aesthetically 'bowled out' revealing a large Androgynoceras Lataecosta ammonite and a smaller example which has been skilfully prepared on a pedestal. A classic British fossil from the Green Ammonite Beds of Charmouth, named due to the unusual calcite colour within these nodules.
